Genesis attended California State University — Northridge where she received her Bachelors of Science in Public Health. She pursued this field to be able to assist families in need and bridge the gap between healthcare disparities. Prior to joining LABBN, she worked at a family source center as a Navigator. In that role, she provided families with one-on-one navigation services, conducted community outreach, and hosted educational workshops. She is very passionate about being part of the LABBN team and growing in her career.

Fun facts:

• When Genesis is not at work, she enjoys spending time at the beach and going on hikes.
• The best advice she was ever given was to believe in herself because she has the ability to do anything she would like to do.
• When she was a child, she wanted to be a teacher.
