Prior to joining LABBN, Melody was a Data Quality Coordinator at a nonprofit that supported young people in foster care or who were experiencing homelessness. In this role, she helped build and manage a database, oversaw data entry, and conducted QA processes. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a concentration in Biostatistics at the University of California, San Diego. She is passionate about improving health outcomes for communities and cares about making health care more accessible for all.

• During her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, trying out new restaurants, and traveling to new cities.
• She previously worked as an outdoor wilderness guide and enjoys sharing stories from her time leading outdoor experiences.
• Her favorite childhood memories involve playing card games by the fire while camping with friends and family.
