Alexis Marron received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Master of Science in Public Health, with a concentration in Health Education and Promotion, from California Baptist University. During her time as a student there, she served as President of the university’s Eta Sigma Gamma chapter, a national health education honor society.

Before joining LABBN, Alexis worked as a Health Educator for the Riverside County Department of Public Health, where she helped educate first responders, hospital staff, families, and community members on ways to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Later, she joined the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health's Education Sector Unit. There, she helped pilot programs aimed at improving student health outcomes and led all program communication efforts. Alexis also has experience organizing nonprofit health fairs to provide community members with health education, basic check-ups, and access to local resources.

Alexis is passionate about health equity and addressing health challenges and barriers that underserved populations face.

Fun facts:

  • Alexis enjoys trying new food halls and coffee shops, and she also enjoys volunteering as a ministry leader at her church.
  • Her hobbies include crafting, cooking, and baking.
  • Her favorite childhood memories are of exploring nature with her family during summer breaks.
  • As a child, she wanted to be a doctor or nurse.
